Some Interesting New Trademarks Filed By Charlotte Flair & Andrade

Over the past week, some interesting new trademarks were filed by Charlotte Flair and Andrade. As most fans know, they are a couple in real life.

Charlotte Flair recently applied to trademark the terms “The Queen of Wrestling” and “Ashley Flair”.

“Ashley Flair” is a combination of her real name and ring name. As a result, that is a name that she could use if she ever chose to leave WWE [WWE owns Charlotte Flair]. “The Queen of Wrestling” is also Charlotte’s nickname in WWE.

As for Andrade, he recently applied to trademark the terms “El Idolo” and “La Sombra”.

“La Sombra” was Andrade’s ring name when he worked for CMLL and he could use it if he left WWE. “El Idolo” is also his current nickname in WWE.

These filings don’t mean that they are leaving WWE but it definitely seems like they are keeping their options open. This will be something to monitor over the next year to see what happens.
