In a surprising twist, Shane McMahon announced a major change to Fastlane. Shane announced that Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler will face off on Tuesday. The winner earns a place in the WWE Championship match at Fastlane (AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens).

Let’s speculate on what will happen in the match.
My initial gut feeling was that it would end in some sort of a no-contest so both Corbin and Ziggler enter the WWE Title match. The reason I say that is because the Fastlane arena was advertising a Fatal 5-way for the WWE Title a few months back. Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton both won’t be in the match but WWE still could turn it into a Fatal 5-way with Corbin and Ziggler.

After thinking about, I am going to go with Dolph Ziggler winning clean on Tuesday. There has been no storyline build for Corbin and Ziggler and no real reason for WWE to bring them both into the WWE Title match. With Ziggler dropping the U.S Title, it looks like WWE will use this to bring him back into the main event picture.
I would be shocked if Ziggler doesn’t end up joining the WWE Title match at Fastlane.
