It has been a newsworthy week for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. They were sent home early from WWE’s European tour for what is being reported as disciplinary reasons. There were a lot of rumors about what happened and the news caused quite the buzz in the wrestling world.

On Friday night, a new report came out saying that Owens and Zayn are scheduled to be back on Smackdown Live this upcoming week. It was previously announced that they would face off against the New Day in a tag team match.
With all of that out of the way, it is time to look forward to Survivor Series. Owens & Zayn currently don’t have a match announced for the event, so let’s speculate on their potential roles.
With Sami and Kevin being involved in the major storyline with Shane McMahon over the past few months, the popular theory seems to be that they will end up costing Team Smackdown Live at the event. It would make sense from storyline perspective. Sami & Kevin are upset with being kept off the team. They also hate Shane and want to see him fail.
I could see Shane putting Sami & Kevin in a tag team (kickoff show) match at Survivor Series to throw us off a bit. Maybe against Rusev & Aiden English or another team from RAW. This might distract fans from them interfering later on in the show.
I think Owens and Zayn will directly attack Shane to cost Smackdown the match. Or they will find another way to aid team RAW in victory. Regardless, I see Team Smackdown losing as a direct result of Owens and Zayn to keep the storyline going.
