In one of the most confusing moments of Monday Night RAW this week, Sasha Banks told Bayley that she loved her backstage. Many fans are now wondering what the hell is going on and where WWE is going with his storyline.
We decided to speculate a little bit on what could happen.
The first thing that likely came to many fans’ minds is that WWE is turning this into some sort of lesbian storyline between Sasha and Bayley. While I am definitely not ruling that one out, I have another idea of where this is going.
I actually think this could be leading to Sasha’s official heel turn. The storyline would be Sasha getting Bayley to trust her and care for her again over the next few weeks. After they mend their relationship, Sasha turns on Bayley. This would be a solid way to officially turn Sasha heel and to also set up a match between them at Summerslam.
If that does happen, I hope their match at Summerslam has a stipulation attached where the loser leaves RAW. They are two Superstars who would probably benefit from being kept on different shows. I also think that Sasha vs Bayley in the Barclays Center (where they tore down the house a few years ago at Takeover: Brooklyn) would be silly to pass up by WWE.
That is how I see it going. I can’t rule out the lesbian storyline completely because that seems like something Vince would do. Still, it seems more likely to me that we still get Bayley vs Sasha at Barclays after a heel turn.
