One of the marquee matches of Survivor Series will be the clash between the Shield and the New Day. This is a match that a lot of fans are excited for and it should be a lot of fun.

Let’s speculate a little bit on the match and how we think it could end. Here are some scenarios to think about.
Scenario 1) The heavy speculation among fans seems to be that the match will be won by the Shield. Would find it very strange for WWE to have the Shield lose in their first Pay-Per-View match back together as a group. The New Day on the other side can afford the loss and it won’t hurt them in the long-run to lose to a dominating team like the Shield.
Scenario 2) Outside Interference. It could be an interesting scenario to set up the next big feud for the Shield by having someone interfere in the match. Specifically, I am thinking Sanity or the Authors of Pain from NXT. This would give the Shield a big feud for the next few months on RAW. If you look at RAW, they are lacking in factions to oppose the Shield. I don’t think it would be a bad idea to start a big new feud for them.
Speculation On How The Men’s Elimination Match Will End
Scenario 3) The match steals the show. There are a lot of good matches at Survivor Series but I think the Shield vs the New Day has the potential to be the best of the night. WWE has built up the storyline well and there is a lot of anticipation for the match. No question that these 6 guys have the chance to put on the best match of the night and maybe one of the best of the year.
I don’t think we will see any tension for a Shield break-up yet, it is way too soon. I also don’t think the New Day will win this match unless scenario 2 directly causes it. Would love to hear from other readers on how they think the match will go!
