The next NXT Takeover event will take place in Chicago on June 16th. This will be one night prior to the Money in the Bank PPV. We now know what the likely NXT Women’s Championship match will be thanks to the NXT taping that happened on May 9th.

It looks like Shayna Baszler will defend her NXT Women’s Championship in Chicago against Nikki Cross. At the taping, Shayna Baszler defeated Dakota Kai. After the match, Baszler choked out Kai until Cross made the save. Nikki attacked Shayna and had Kai count the 3. Cross stole the NXT Women’s Championship to close the taping. Here is a photo:
