Stephen Amell and Cody Rhodes were recently interviewed by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. This was to promote Cody’s new wine, that is only available through Amell’s company: ‘Nocking Point’.

You might remember Amell from his match at Summerslam 2015. Amell teamed up with Neville at the event to defeat Stardust and King Barrett. Many fans have praised Amell as being one of the better celebrity appearances for WWE.
During the interview, Amell revealed the advice that Triple H gave him right before his match. Here is what he said:
“I was standing in the ‘Gorilla’ position before our match. Hunter walked up to me and said, ‘If you think you’re going too fast, slow down. When you’re sure you’re going too slow, then slow down some more. And when you’re positive you’re going too slow, then slow down some more”
He also shared what the experience was like:
“As soon as I walked out into the Barclays, all of the moisture was immediately zapped from my mouth. I literally forgot to get in the ring, but I couldn’t ask for a better person to work with than Cody. It couldn’t have been better.”
Amell did a great job and he is certainly one of the more memorable celebrity guests in recent memory.
