STEVE AUSTIN SAYS WWE ISN’T FACING A CONCUSSION EPIDEMIC

After Daniel Bryan was forced to retire due to numerous concussions and injuries, it came into question if WWE stars are at serious risk of head injuries. Even though wrestling is scripted entertainment, some of the blows to the head the wrestlers sustain are VERY real.

TMZ Sports recently caught up with wrestling legend Stone Cold Steve Austin at an airport and asked if he thinks the WWE is facing a concussion epidemic:

Steve doesn’t think the WWE is dealing with a concussion epidemic and attributes Daniel’s injuries likely to his cruiserweight style.

I think that we are seeing in every professional sport concussions are starting to become a real issue. Hopefully the WWE is taking precautions to deal with their concussed athletes and diagnose it right as it happens. As we have seen with Daniel Bryan, these concussions can pile up and end a career.
