Ted DiBiase Comments On WWE’s Lack Of ‘Real Heels’

‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase was recently a guest on the Ross Report podcast hosted by Jim Ross. During the interview he spoke about his wrestling career. He also spoke about the current generation of professional wrestlers.

One of DiBiase’s biggest complaints about WWE today is their lack of, what he calls: “real heels”.

Here is what he had to say:

“I know WWE is publicly traded now, so I don’t know if there are restrictions, but there aren’t any real heels. I have people come up to me all the time and tell me, please don’t be offended but I hated your guts. I laugh all the time and tell them— thank you, that is the greatest compliment that I can receive because that was my job, to hate my guts and want to see me get my butt kicked”

He says that the closest person to that today (in his mind) is probably Bray Wyatt:

“There aren’t any—guess the person closest in my book, I think Bray Wyatt, Mike [Rotunda]’s kid, who comes across as genuine as we can get”
