News broke a few days ago that Alexa Bliss and Natalya traveled with WWE to Saudi Arabia. This caused quite the stir since there has never been a Women’s match at any of the PPV events in Saudi Arabia.
We have the latest rumor to pass your way.
According to Dave Meltzer on his daily update for F4Wonline, WWE was told at one point that they could do a Women’s match at Super Showdown. Here is what he wrote:
WWE brought the women there and at one point were told they could have the match, but it’s gone back and forth since.
If it happens, the match would obviously be Alexa Bliss vs Natalya as they are two of the Women who made the trip. The other was Renee Young, who will be one of the announcers for the event.
My Take: I feel like it would be a bad look now for WWE if Alexa and Natalya are not allowed to wrestle after being brought in for the show. My popcorn is ready to see what happens.
