Wrestlemania 36 will be taking place in Tampa Bay next year. A safe assumption is that Becky Lynch will likely be involved in a big match at the event.
We have the latest rumor to pass your way about Becky.
Specifically, it looks like we can cross off another name who was rumored to face Becky at either Summerslam or Wrestlemania 36.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Stephanie McMahon will not be facing Becky at the event. Here is a quote:
“Regarding the Lynch 2020 WrestleMania plan, the one thing we’ve been told is that the opponent planned right now is not Stephanie McMahon, and as noted not Rousey (although if Rousey wants that spot she would almost certainly get it) or Flair”
My Take: My personal pick is Becky vs Sasha Banks, which I think could be a really strong match if done right. I am definitely glad that WWE isn’t thinking about doing Becky vs Stephanie anymore as this has been rumored for a few months now.
