Daniel Bryan successfully retained his WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Now the question is, who will Bryan be defending his Championship against at Wrestlemania 35?
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer said there have been a handful of names that have been discussed.
Meltzer has heard that Bryan’s opponent will be a returning Superstar.
Here are the names that Meltzer listed as those who are currently in discussion for the match against Bryan:
- Bray Wyatt
- Sami Zayn
- Kevin Owens
- Kurt Angle
- Undertaker
- John Cena
- Batista
My Take: Personally, I still love the idea of Kofi vs Daniel at Wrestlemania 35. I could still see that happening after the momentum that Kofi has built over the past two weeks. If it is going to be a returning Superstar though, I would be okay with any of the names on the list. Bryan is killing it right now as a heel and I’d be happy to see him get a big match at the event.
