James Ellsworth was fired from Smackdown Live a few weeks ago by Paige. This was only several weeks after he returned to the company and re-aligned himself with Carmella. This has left many fans wondering if Ellsworth was really released from WWE or if this was just part of the storyline.

For what it’s worth, James Ellsworth has been moved to the alumni section on WWE’s website, which seems to be a hint that he really is finished with WWE again. Dave Meltzer also indicated on Twitter that if WWE has an idea, they will bring him back:
