Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly were unsuccessful in their attempt to win the NXT Tag Team Championships at Takeover: XXV. Their night ended on a high note though as they celebrated in the ring with Adam Cole after he won the NXT Championship.
You likely noticed that Bobby Fish was wearing a sling during the celebration that closed the show.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it was done as a precautionary measure. Here is what he wrote about Fish:
Bobby Fish had his arm in a sling at the end of Takeover as a precautionary measure as he banged up his shoulder and arm during the Ladder Match for the NXT Tag Team titles. The hope is that it’s a minor issue but they won’t be able to confirm that until they get an MRI and other medical testing done. The belief is that everyone else came out relatively unscathed but they want to wait and see how everyone is feeling tomorrow due to the nature of the match.
