According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, James Ellsworth was backstage at Smackdown this week because he was being interviewed for something related to the female WWE talent.
It is unclear at the moment if it was something for the upcoming Evolution PPV event or for a future WWE Network special.
Why Nia Jax Hasn’t Been On RAW
Johnson also says that Nia Jax was at the WWE Performance Center this week. Nia was doing some physical therapy on her leg, which has recently been giving her some issues.
Johnson says that this is the reason why Nia has been off WWE television as of late.
