The Rumored Reason Why John Cena Worked A Limited Role At WWE Super Show-Down

John Cena made his WWE return at the Super Show-Down event in Australia. Cena teamed with Bobby Lashley to defeat Elias and Kevin Owens. Cena hit his ‘6th move of doom’ (a punch) for the win.

You may have noticed that Cena worked an extremely limited role in the match. He took one bump, which was him getting knocked off the apron. He hit the ‘AA’ and the punch for the win.

According to WrestlingNews.co, the reason is that Cena has more filming to do for his upcoming movie, “Project X-Traction”. It turns out that this forced him into a limited role for the match.

Cena is apparently scheduled to fly back to China at the end of this month to wrap up filming. The site says that the movie studio was told that Cena would not do anything that could potentially delay filming.

This would make a lot of sense as to why we only saw Cena for a few moments in this match. Other than getting knocked off the apron, he took no bumps.

This also explains his hair, since Cena usually keeps it short. More filming makes sense.
