On the latest episode of RAW, WWE teased some tension between Zelina Vega’s faction, which includes Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. Garza and Theory were arguing throughout the episode, including during Garza’s match on RAW.
We have a potential spoiler to pass your way about the plans for this storyline.
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, he was told at Wrestlemania that Austin Theory was not planned to be with Zelina’s faction for the long-term.
This hints that Theory could be kicked of the group soon. Here is what Johnson said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote below):
“They seem to be teasing the beginning of Austin Theory getting tossed out of the group. When Austin Theory debuted at WrestleMania I was told he was not long for the group. He was there basically to help cover things up in terms of what was needed while Andrade was injured, but the long-term plan was not to keep him with Zelina Vega and friends.”
We will have to wait and see what happens but WWE definitely planted the seeds for Theory to get the boot.
