Theory On How WWE Could Replace Daniel Bryan At Crown Jewel

You have likely heard the rumors floating around that Daniel Bryan is refusing to take part in the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Bryan is currently scheduled to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the event.

So what if these rumors turn out to be true? What if Daniel Bryan doesn’t compete in Saudi Arabia? We have a theory to pass your way on how WWE could remove Daniel from the match.

Let’s start with Smackdown Next Week

If he is going to be pulled from the match, WWE is going to need to act quickly. This upcoming week’s episode of Smackdown will be the go-home show for Crown Jewel, which means it will be WWE’s last chance to take Bryan out of the match.

My guess is that Bryan is a victim of a vicious assault in the backstage area. Bryan would get destroyed by a mystery attacker, making it clear that he won’t be able to compete at Crown Jewel.

So what happens at Crown Jewel?

In this case, WWE would switch the Miz out of the World Cup tournament and into a WWE Championship match against AJ Styles. There are already some seeds planted with AJ and the Miz, so this would make sense. The Miz could argue that he should be next in line, arguing that his loss to Bryan at Super Show-Down was a fluke.

The Miz would later be revealed as the mystery attacker of Bryan, which continues their feud. I think we are building towards Styles vs Miz vs Bryan over the next month anyway.

That is what I see happening if Bryan gets pulled. What about you? Let me know in the comment section below.

On a related note, here is our speculation on the WWE Universal Championship plans over the next few months.
