WWE has confirmed a tag team match for Hell in a Cell. It will be Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. These four have been feuding for the past few weeks on Smackdown.
I wanted to pass along my theory on what I think this storyline is leading to.
During the tag team match at Hell in a Cell, I think that Bryan will be responsible for a big swerve.
My theory is that Bryan will turn on Reigns during the match. It will be revealed that Bryan was the mastermind behind everything, including the original attack on Reigns from a few months ago. It will also be revealed that Bryan, Rowan and Harper have been playing us this entire time. Rowan and Harper attacking Bryan for the past few weeks was only to trick Reigns (and the fans).
This will ultimately lead to Bryan leading a new faction that includes Harper and Rowan. It would also lead us to the Bryan vs Reigns (singles) match that I think fans really want to see. I still think that there is money in that feud and I hope that WWE didn’t move on from it. Not to mention, this swerve would put over Bryan’s character as an absolute sociopath. For all of those reasons, I think that Bryan is still the mastermind behind everything and still a heel.
