Here is what we learned from the first night of Takeover: Stand & Deliver, which took place on April 7th, 2021.
1) Zoey Stark Picked Up The Upset Win Over Toni Storm On The Kickoff Show
The kickoff show featured a match between Toni Storm and Zoey Stark. This match was won by Zoey after she secured an inside cradle pin.
This was definitely the biggest win of Zoey’s career so far.
2) The Stage Design Was Incredible
I have to start off by saying that the stage set-up for the show was incredible.
Props to WWE for another badass looking event/
3) Pete Dunne Has A New Theme Song
The first match of the night was between KUSHIDA and Pete Dunne. One thing that fans noticed before it started was that WWE has changed Pete Dunne’s theme song.
I am not sure how I feel about the change. I will have to hear it a few more times before I make my mind up.
