Aaaaaaand here he is! Like many, many, MANY wrestling fans- I hated John Cena for a long time. His tyrade at the top of the card, similar to Triple H’s, soured me on the man we all can’t see and I never thought I’d accept him.
But over the last two years- he has been phenomenal. It’s been no secret that Cena is more than capable to put on a good match but he has consistently done that every pay-per-view he has appeared in since 2014. Owens and Styles instantly pop to mind but his fantastic bouts on Raw with his US Open Challenge helped cement that belt more than it had been in the last few years. And, going to back to what I mentioned about ‘Takers last match at Mania, it would be a perfect reason for Cena to win the Royal Rumble.
Think about it; One match previously it’s Undertaker vs AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, Taker wins, Cena wins the Rumble and the match is set; John Cena vs The Undertaker in a match where if Taker loses he retires and simultaneously, John ties up Ric Flairs record of title wins…that’s definitely one hell of a Wrestlemania moment.

My picks are Finn Balor or Connor McGregor if WWE somehow manages to get him to do guest appearances that culminate in a match for him at Wrestlemania. Very unlikely but I’d love it if he faces Reigns at Wrestlemania 33. My obvious pick is Finn Balor though.
