3) AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
AJ Styles vs Randy Orton is something that we hope will happen in 2017. Both guys are extremely talented and I think they could create something special if they were to face off.
AJ has been adamant about his dream opponent inside of a WWE ring being Randy Orton in various interviews. Here is an example from a recent appearance on Chad Dukes Versus The World:
“Well, I think there’s that one person that everybody would like to see me work with, and that’s Randy Orton. Randy and I have yet to even touch in the ring, I don’t think I’ve hit him with anything, or he’s hit me. None of that’s ever happened. I think that’s gonna be something special when it does.”
AJ has said this multiple times over the past year when asked about his dream match inside of a WWE ring. If AJ thinks that he can put on something special with Orton, hard for me to disagree with him. This must mean that AJ already has some ideas flowing about what he and Randy could do in the ring.
I am already imagining a ‘Phenomenal Forearm’ being countered into an RKO.
“The Viper” vs “The Phenomal One” sounds good to me. Hopefully it happens in the next year as I think it could be a big money feud.

I thought Styles/Reigns were a good tandem. I think Styles versus Rusev/Orton/Wyatt could be great potential feuds.
I would like to see Chad Gable go up against Styles 1on1 at some point. that has potential written all over it.
essentially, Styles vs. anyone is seemingly money.
