The match was teased back in 2009 but it never came to fruition. The Undertaker hit John Cena with a tombstone after their team picked up the win on RAW (about 13:30 into the video):
Fans have been asking for this for a long time and it seems like a no-brainer for me to have these two face off at Wrestlemania 33.

If it is going to be the final match of the Undertaker’s career, make it a Career vs Career match to raise the stakes a little bit more. If this doesn’t happen, this will be high on my personal list of Wrestlemania matches that never came to fruition.
Fingers are crossed that the reason ‘Taker is returning to Smackdown is to call out Cena…. Not sure it happens though but we will have to wait and see!

I want Taker vs Ambrose! Ambrose deserves an opponent that wants to put on a good match, not just do the bare minimum to get paid.
Well….if Sting vs. Taker is not possible, I guess it would be nice see Wyatt vs Taker. Like Hogan passing the torch to the Ultimate Warrior…..
