Torrie Wilson Reveals The Original Plans For Her Match At WWE Evolution

Torrie Wilson was recently a guest on Lilian Garcia’s podcast, Chasing Glory. During the podcast, Torrie shared the plans for the match that she was originally scheduled for at the WWE Evolution PPV.

These plans ended up getting scrapped and she took part in the Women’s battle royal at the event instead.

Here is what she said (h/t to Wrestleyard for the quotes below):

“They [WWE] had called me months before and asked if I would want to [compete at Evolution] and I said I would love to but I really want to be in a match, and I had pitched a match against The IIconics.

It was gonna happen and then they decided they didn’t want it to happen. I got all excited, I was ready to go train here in Orlando, and for whatever reasons creatively it didn’t happen.”

Torrie joked that it was probably for the best that the tag team match didn’t happen:

“Even when I only took two moves, I was like ‘Man, it’s probably a good thing I didn’t have that match!’”
