Triple H was recently interviewed by Fox Sports. He spoke on a wide variety of topics about his current position working behind the scenes of WWE. His official job title is the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative.
He is leading man in charge of NXT and is responsible for recruiting talent for the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
So what exactly is the WWE looking for when they are recruiting talent? How can you get a job with the WWE one day? Here is what he said in the interview when asked what he is looking for in a potential WWE superstar:
“The biggest thing for us is, at that point — you’re talking about amazing athletes. Did they come prepared? Are they leaders — when they get exhausted, how do they react to that, are they leaders or are they just falling by the wayside and not putting in the effort?”
He says that more important than the physical aspect is charisma:
“And then the biggest thing I think that you look for across the board is charisma. Charisma in what we do is king. Building your own brand and being the person that when you walk into a room people stop to take notice of you. Being a person that can attract attention to yourself. Those are things we look for”
