Kenny Omega potentially signing with WWE has been one of the biggest stories of 2017 so far in wrestling. Omega is coming off an incredible match against Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 11, where his performance has garnered him widespread praise from wrestling fans.

Rumors started flying after Omega tweeted that he was ‘stepping away from Japan‘. This instantly had fans thinking WWE brought a dump truck full of money to his doorstep. Mix that in with John Cena posting numerous teases on Instagram about Omega and still no one is sure what will happen.
During the media call for WWE’s United Kingdom Championship Tournament, Triple H was asked if he had any interest in signing Kenny Omega to WWE.
Here is what Triple H said:
“As far as a Kenny Omega goes, I’m just interested in talent period. If somebody is talented as a performer and they wanna come work for the WWE, if they wanna come to the largest platform in the world where they can truly show what they do off on a global basis, then WWE is the choice for them. If they wanna come work for us and they’re very talented, then I’m interested in talking to them, and that’s across the board”
He continued:
“To me, any time anybody questions me on a talent — am I interested in them— the fact that you’re questioning me on them means that person is probably pretty talented, so yes I’m interested”

Add some more fuel to the Kenny Omega to WWE fire. It seems obvious though, considering Omega is considered one of the best wrestlers in the world. Triple H and WWE are interested in making money and if they think Omega is a star, why not throw a ton of money his way?
