TJ Perkins made history by winning the first ever WWE Cruiserweight Classic on Wednesday night. He defeated Kota Ibushi earlier in the night in the semi-finals before defeating Gran Metalik in the finals. Triple H made the bombshell announcement that not only was he winning the WWE CWC, he was also taking home the new WWE Cruiserweight Title belt.

Congratulations to TJ Perkins on his big win! He had an incredible story and is incredibly talented in the ring. Can’t wait to see what him and the other cruiserweights can do on RAW moving forward. Should give RAW the shot in the arm it needs.
