During this weeks RAW, the WWE advertised 2 big matches for Smackdown LIVE. Smackdown is looking to keep the momentum going after putting on a number of solid shows over the past couple weeks. Many fans have said that they prefer watching Smackdown each week and the matches announced will certainly keep that attitude going.

The WWE announced that the Miz will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler. This will be a re-match from Backlash, where the Miz was able to win with the help of Maryse. Could we see a title change on weekly TV?
It was also announced that John Cena will take on Dean Ambrose. Both guys are involved in the main event of WWE No Mercy next month, in a triple threat match for AJ Styles’ WWE World Championship.
Looks like Smackdown Live is stepping up their game!
