Many people were asking after the WWE Draft concluded, where are the surprise returns? Many fans expected tons of former stars would get picked but it never happened. It had been widely speculated prior that a number of names would be returning to the company in the near future. It looks like the WWE was waiting for after the draft to fit some of the returning guys in as PWInsider has confirmed two names making their WWE returns in the near future.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, they have confirmed two former stars that will be returning to the company after the WWE Draft. The names they have confirmed in their report are: Rhyno and Curt Hawkins. The report says that they are likely going to the Smackdown brand when everything is finalized.
Rhyno recently appeared on NXT TV a couple weeks ago, interrupting a match between the Hype Bros and Blake and Murphy. Prior to that we saw him team with the Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer back in December to take on the Wyatt Family.
Curt Hawkins recently has been wrestling in various companies under his real name Brian Meyers. You might remember him from his time teaming with Zack Ryder (even winning the WWE Tag Team Titles). He was released back in 2014 from the company.
No word yet on when they will make their debuts. This should also be the beginning of some former stars returning to the company to help pad the roster with some depth after the brand split.
