In June of 2015, Tyson Kidd’s life changed forever. During a match against Samoa Joe, he suffered a severe neck/ spine injury. Not only was Kidd lucky to not be paralyzed, he was lucky to be alive as doctors told him that there was a 5% survival rate.

There have been many questions about Kidd and his future in the WWE after the injury.
According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Kidd will be returning to WWE but not in any wrestling capacity.
The report states that Kidd is being transitioned to a non-wrestling role with the company. The exact details are not yet known for how they will use him. It could be in a backstage capacity as an agent or it could be something on-air.
We will have to wait and see what they do with him. It seems clear that Kidd will never wrestle again for the company.
