WWE announced on Wednesday that they will be airing a new Facebook Live series: WWE Mixed Match Challenge. The show will air starting on January 16th at 10:00 PM (EST). This will be a mixed, single-elimination, tag-team tournament.
With the news, many fans wondered what will be happening with 205 Live. 10:00 PM (EST) is the same exact time that 205 Live airs on Tuesday’s. Is WWE trying to compete with themselves?
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, our questions about the Mixed Match Challenge’s impact on 205 Live have been answered.
Johnson says that for the duration of the tournament, 205 Live will be pushed back to a 10:30 PM (EST) start time.

This change will happen for the 12 weeks that the tournament is airing. This won’t be the first time that WWE has pushed back 205 Live, we saw this happen for the Mae Young Classic finale back in the summer.
