Update On The Rumors Of WWE Pairing Kevin Owens With Paul Heyman And The Latest On The AJ Lee-Evolution Rumors

We have a couple of updates for you on some rumors that have been floating around recently. These updates come from Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here).

The first is an update on the rumors floating around that WWE is considering pairing Paul Heyman with Kevin Owens. Owens recently ‘quit’ from Monday Night RAW and there has been plenty of speculation on his future moving forward.

Meltzer says that there is no truth to the rumor of Heyman managing Owens.

The second update has to do with the rumors about AJ Lee potentially appearing at the WWE Evolution event. There was a rumor floating around that Vince McMahon personally contacted AJ about a potential appearance at the event.

Meltzer says that as of two weeks ago, there was nothing to these rumors. It would be a very difficult situation to try and work out a deal based on AJ’s husband, CM Punk recently being involved in a lawsuit with WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann. Sounds like fans shouldn’t get their hopes up as Meltzer says that it “would sound very difficult given the circumstances.”

There you have it. Looks like there is nothing to these rumors at the moment. We will have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.
