Update On The Rumors Of Brock Lesnar Returning To The UFC

There were some rumors circulating on Wednesday that Brock Lesnar could be returning to the UFC for another fight. Brock last fought in 2016 against Mark Hunt. He won the fight by unanimous decision but it was overturned to a no contest after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance.

There has been a lot of confusion on the subject so we have a new report from Dave Meltzer of F4wonline.com that clears some of this up.

Meltzer says that Brock has re-entered himself into the USADA testing pool. This means that there is some substance to the rumors that he could want another fight.

The original rumors suggested that Brock could return on the November 4th UFC show at Madison Square Garden. Meltzer says that this date would be impossible because Brock still has five months left on his suspension. That would make December the earliest he could return to the octagon.

UFC reportedly confirmed that Brock does have some interest in fighting again. Putting himself back into the testing pool suggests Lesnar wants to fight again.

Take that as you will. Looks like a return for another fight could certainly happen for Brock. Let’s wait and see.
