It was announced on Thursday that Vince McMahon would be holding a press conference to make a “major sports announcement”. This was through his new venture: ALPHA Entertainment LLC. It turns out that Vince is bringing back the XFL in 2020.

Here are the important things that WWE fans need to know about Vince bringing the league back.
– Vince says that his current role in WWE will not change at all. His daily WWE duties and his job title will remain the same.
– Vince will be hiring people to be the faces of the league. He will not be involved publicly like he was the last time. This may be his last public appearance discussing the league.
– There will be no crossover between WWE stars and the XFL.
– He remained clear that WWE and the XFL are separate entities and they will have nothing to do with one another.
– One of the funnier parts for wrestling fans was when he said that he is trying to speed the game of Football up. Vince says that sometimes 3-hour games can be “laborious”. He wants games to be around 2 hours. Wrestling fans have been calling for RAW to move to 2 hours for quite some time.
