The big news story of the week in the wrestling world was Daniel Bryan being cleared by WWE doctors to return to the ring. Bryan had been adamant since retiring that he felt like he could return. The news broke on Tuesday afternoon, with fans and WWE stars expressing their excitement (except for the Miz of course).
So when was the decision made to clear Bryan?
In a behind-the-scenes video with Bryan, he says that WWE made the decision to clear him on Monday night. Here is a quote from him:
“It’s hard because legitimately I just got cleared last night. So there’s still this wave of emotions and it’s hard for me when I’m thinking and writing what I would like to say, that it’s hard for me not to cry”
WWE made the official announcement at about 3:04 PM (EST) on Tuesday.
