WWE revealed some big news on RAW this past week. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships will be crowned at the Elimination Chamber PPV next month.
6 teams will participate in an Elimination Chamber match. There will be 3 teams from RAW and 3 teams from Smackdown Live.
So who is going to participate in the match? Here are our predictions:
6) Sasha Banks & Bayley (RAW)
Sasha Banks and Bayley seem like a safe pick for this match. They are a clearly established tag team and will be one of the favorites to walk out with the belts.
A recent rumor suggested that Sasha and Bayley were originally planned to walk out with the belts at Summerslam before WWE changed their plans. The rumor also suggests that they will be heavily involved with the new tag belts.
The only way that this doesn’t happen is if the feud between Sasha Banks and Ronda Rousey extends past the Royal Rumble.
5) Nia Jax & Tamina (RAW)
Nia Jax and Tamina also seem like strong candidates for this match. They will more than likely be pushed as the powerhouses of the tag team division.
I would be pretty shocked if they don’t end up in this match. Due to their size, they add something different to the match, which I am sure that WWE likes.
I think that it is a safe call to pencil them in for this match.
