Top 5 Candidates Who Could Win The Women’s Royal Rumble Match

WWE announced that we will be seeing the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018. Now that the match has been officially announced, it is time to look towards the potential winner. Here are 5 names who we think have the best chance to walk away as the inaugural winner.

Nia Jax

Nia Jax is the most physically imposing member of the WWE Women’s division. As a result, she will likely play a major role in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match.

If we had to guess, WWE will have multiple females trying to eliminate her throughout the match. This will be similar to what WWE has done in the past with some of their male stars in Royal Rumble matches (like the Big Show or Braun Strowman).  WWE has already started portraying her as the force to be reckoned with in the match as was evident from her double Samoan drop on RAW:

A win for Nia would really put her over as WWE’s monster in the Women’s division. If she doesn’t win, expect her to be around until the final few entrants.

Sasha Banks

There is no question that Sasha Banks is a history-maker in WWE. She was recently apart of the first-ever Women’s Championship match in Abu Dhabi. She also has competed in the first-ever Women’s Hell in a Cell match, among many other history-making moments. Maybe she will add first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble winner to her resume?

Sasha has a chance in my eyes. This could be WWE’s way to set-up Sasha vs Asuka at Wrestlemania 34 for the RAW Women’s Title. Asuka wins the belt over the next few months and Sasha wins the Rumble match. I think that Asuka vs Sasha is a match worthy of Wrestlemania.

Don’t count Sasha out in the first-ever rumble match.

    • Rhonda Rousey is winning and then she’ll face Charlotte for the SD women’s title. Rousey is going to Smackdown Live not RAW because Smackdown Live is taking her in response to RAW taking Asuka
