Here are some potential roles for the Rock at Wrestlemania 35. Please note that none of these are matches for the Rock as I don’t think that he would be fully cleared. Instead, these are various other roles that he could be in at the event.
5) The Rock Is The Host Of Wrestlemania 35
Probably one of the more realistic options on the list, the Rock as the host of Wrestlemania 35. I am skeptical about the Rock being allowed to wrestle an actual match at the event in case he gets hurt. As a result, the Rock as the host could still be fun.
We already know that the Rock would crush it on the mic. As a big fan of his, I would love to see him crack jokes all night and in segments with some of the current talent. He could also get into a small match like he did at Wrestlemania 32 where he defeated Erick Rowan in a few seconds.
This would also be a major place for the Rock to advertise one of his next blockbuster films. The Rock as the host could make a lot of sense as a way to plug one of his upcoming movies.
Could be a fun option.
4) The Rock Is Involved In A Legends Segment
I know that I would love to see a segment involving him and some legends from the past. These legend segments are always a lot of fun at Wrestlemania.
The Rock could go back and forth on the mic with someone like Stone Cold Steve Austin or John Cena. A heel WWE Superstar from the current roster could interrupt them. After some back-and-forth on the mic, we end up getting a Rock Bottom and a People’s Elbow to send the fans home happy.
Always fun seeing the legends interact with the current Superstars on the roster. It would likely be a fun Wrestlemania moment that generates some buzz.
