Here are some ideas for the WWE 24/7 Championship. Some fun ways that the belt could change hands.
10) Drake Maverick’s Wife Pins Him To Win The Title
Drake Maverick has been a focal point of the 24/7 Title since it was introduced. He was recently pinned at his wedding to lose the belt.
I think that a wild storyline would be for Drake Maverick to win the Title again, only to lose it to his wife! This would be a funny moment as Drake has been valuing the Title more than his wife as of late. She could either win the Title herself or help Truth take it from him.
Just imagine Drake thinking that he is safe at home with the Title, only for his wife to stab him in the back. Could make for a fun moment.
9) A Home Invasion
Another interesting idea could be a home invasion. That would mean a challenger makes a trip to the 24/7 Champions home (with a referee) to try and win the belt.
This has some potential to be comedy gold. Say R-Truth is sitting at home watching TV with his wife. It would be funny to see someone come to Truth’s house and pin him to win the Title.
The person could pose as a repairman coming to fix something. After pretending to fix the television, that person would pin Truth to win the Title. Would be a funny direction for WWE to go.
8) R-Truth Pins The Wrong Champion
R-Truth seems to be a perfect fit for this 24/7 Championship. It is really allowing him to show off his comedic timing through these backstage skits.
I have a fun idea for Truth. You know how he always does the schtick where he forgets things? I think WWE should use that to their advantage.
It would be funny to see Truth pin one of the RAW Tag Team Champions backstage and start to celebrate. This wouldn’t actually count though as they are not the 24/7 Champion. This seems like a funny moment that WWE will attempt at some point.
