WWE Has Cancelled One Of Their Live Events In India

As many of you know, WWE was scheduled to run two live events from India. These were planned to take place on December 8th and 9th at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. With Jinder Mahal losing the WWE Title, the main event changed to Jinder vs Triple H.

It turns out that WWE has cancelled one of the two shows.

WWE has cancelled the December 8th show and will now be having a ‘supershow’ on the 9th. Here is the statement from Times of India:

“To meet the requests of WWE fans in India, and deliver the biggest main event in the country’s history, WWE is combining two nights of family-friendly action into a one-night only, exclusive Supershow”

Can’t be a good sign for WWE’s push into India.

Here is the match card:

  • Jinder Mahal vs Triple H
  • The Shield: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Samoa Joe and RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus
  • Braun Strowman vs. Kane
  • Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt
  • Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks
  • Jason Jordan vs Elias
  • Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto
  • Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil vs Gallows and Anderson
  • Jeet Rama and Kishan Rafter vs The Miztourage
