WWE Changed The Plans For Ronda Rousey And Becky Lynch’s Segment On RAW

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW confirmed a big Champion vs Champion match for Survivor Series. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will face off against Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at the event.

WWE aired a clip of Ronda and Becky on RAW, which was said to have taken place after WWE Evolution. Ronda and Becky were interviewed backstage and kept calling one another “champ”.

It appears that WWE changed their plans for this segment. In the official preview on WWE’s website for Becky vs Ronda, it was noted that Becky attacked Ronda backstage after Evolution. This obviously is not what we were shown on RAW this week. Here is what it said on the website:

“However, the Rowdy titleholder’s celebration was short-lived; just moments after she and Becky stood triumphantly side-by-side along with the rest of the female Superstars in the culmination of the monumental event, The Irish Lass Kicker unleashed a vicious assault on her fellow champion backstage”

Looks like this was changed at the last minute. Nobody told the writer on WWE’s website though as it is still there as of writing this.

Would you have preferred to see Becky attack Ronda backstage?

On a related note, Becky received a massive ovation when she returned to her hotel after Evolution. You can watch that video here.
