WWE China – The WWE Announces A Major Deal With China, First Ever Chinese WWE Star Signed

WWE China.

The WWE made some historic announcements on Thursday morning regarding WWE China.

The WWE announced that they are partnering with PPTV to give Chinese fans RAW and Smackdown in Mandarin. Starting on June 28th 2016, All 3 hours of RAW and 2 hours of Smackdown will be available on demand on PPTV for Chinese fans. In the past, Chinese fans only were able to watch an hour edited version of WWE programming.

The WWE also announced that they will return to China for a live event. Saturday September 10th 2016 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena will be the first WWE live event in China in over 3 years. Advertised stars include: Roman Reigns, John Cena, Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Seth Rollins.

Triple H also announced the signing of the first ever Chinese WWE star as Bin Wang signed a WWE developmental contract. Wang has been training with WWE Hall of Famer Antonio Inoki.
