11) The Presentation Of The 2019 WWE Draft
According to a rumor floating around, we are going to see a different presentation of the 2019 WWE Draft than previous years.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer says the idea going around is that FOX will present it just like it was a legitimate sports draft. FOX has plenty of experience with drafts from various sports over the years and will try to bring that feel to the WWE Draft this year.
Meltzer also added that since the WWE Draft is starting on Smackdown, it is supposed to be a sign that Smackdown is no longer the ‘B’ brand of WWE.
10) Tag Team Rumored To Be Returning In The Draft
The Usos have been off WWE television for several weeks now. This comes after Jimmy Usos’ recent DUI arrest.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that the Usos are expected to be brought back to WWE television very soon. The expectation is that it will be around the time of the WWE Draft.
Meltzer added that there are rumors the duo could be moved over to Smackdown in order to help bolster the tag team division.
9) Drew McIntyre Rumored To Be Returning At The Draft
Drew McIntyre has been out of action for several weeks now. He underwent a medical procedure after losing to Ricochet in the King of the Ring tournament.
The rumor going around is that Drew will be returning during the WWE Draft. He was backstage at Smackdown this past week and looks to have been cleared to return.
Look out for Drew at the Draft this year. Seems like he could make a big impact.
