8) The Possible Stipulation For Drew McIntyre vs Dolph Ziggler
The Horror Show At Extreme Rules event will feature a match between Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Dolph Ziggler will be picking the stipulation for the match but not until the very last minute.
WWE is now advertising Ziggler vs McIntyre as a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Here is the photo that is making the rounds (via journalist Gary Cassidy):
My Take:
- This would be a bit weird as Dolph hinted on The Bump that he would be choosing something that has never been seen before in WWE. Is this just a placeholder ad or was Ziggler just trolling everyone? We will have to wait and see I guess.
7) The Original Plans For Asuka At Extreme Rules
WWE has officially confirmed Sasha Banks vs Asuka at Extreme Rules. This will be for the RAW Women’s Championship.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Sasha was chosen to face Asuka at this event because Charlotte is taking time off. The original plan for this event was going to be Charlotte vs Asuka.
My Take:
- I am thrilled that WWE is giving us Asuka vs Sasha at this event. I can’t wait to see it happen and I am sure it will be a really good match.
