WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 Results – Things That We Learned

Here is what we learned from the Hell in a Cell PPV.

1) WWE Added 5 Late Matches To The Card

Hell in a Cell only had four matches confirmed up until an hour before the PPV. Right before the PPV (and during), WWE confirmed 5 new matches for the event.

Those matches were:

  • Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs Asuka and Kairi Sane for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
  • Lacey Evans vs Natalya
  • Chad Gable vs King Corbin
  • The O.C vs the Viking Raiders and a mystery partner.
  • Ali vs Randy Orton

Talk about last-minute! Not much storyline build for any of these matches.

2) WWE Changed Up The Stage Design For Hell In A Cell

For the past several PPV events, WWE had been using the usual stage that we see on RAW and Smackdown. WWE changed things up this PPV and gave us a fresh design.

3) Natalya Defeated Lacey Evans And Clocked Her After The Match

The kickoff show of the PPV featured a match between Lacey Evans and Natalya.

The match was won by Natalya via submission after she locked in the Sharpshooter. After the match, Natalya clocked Lacey with a big right hand.
