You have likely heard by now about the backlash that WWE is getting after they announced the Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 34. We saw fans first express their displeasure on social media. We also saw a petition going around that drew over 10,000 signatures to change the name.
It appears as if WWE is, in fact, changing the name of the match.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful says that WWE is changing the name of the match to the “WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal”:

I was told that Snickers, the sponsor of WrestleMania was very unhappy about the negative publicity associated with The Fabulous Moolah name
