WWE Makes A Change To The 2018 WWE Money In The Bank PPV

The 2017 edition of the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View was Smackdown Live exclusive. This year we saw both a Men’s and a Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Baron Corbin came out on top for the Men, while Carmella came out on top for the Women.

According to a new report, it looks like WWE will be making a change to the PPV event in 2018.

PWInsider reports that Money in the Bank looks like it will feature superstars from both RAW and Smackdown Live. It will be held on June 17th in Chicago, Ilinois.

This would make Money in the Bank the 5th co-branded Pay-Per-View event of the year along with Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series & the Royal Rumble.

It will be interesting to see what WWE does. If they decide to do briefcases for both RAW & Smackdown, that means we have the potential to see 4 ladder matches. Or they could to 2 cross-branded ladder matches for the Men and Women. Superstars of RAW & Smackdown Live would compete against one another for only 1 Men’s and 1 Women’s briefcase. We will have to wait and see.

Here is the list of the rest of the PPV events in 2018 for those interested.

  1. that is interesting. i mean in games i always had this ppv co branded but it happening for real makes you wonder how the schedule next year is going. Also would 4 ladder matches be too much or could it be the best mitb ppv. guess we gotta wait.
