26 WWE Stars Who Have Competed In MMA Fights

Professional wrestling has a reputation from some (uninformed) people as being fake. The results are scripted, but the athletes involved deserve a ton of respect for what they put their bodies through. You might not know that there have even been some wrestlers that have given Mixed Martial Arts a try. Here is a list of past and present WWE stars that have attempted MMA and their win-loss records! Note: This list is in alphabetical order!

26) Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio (aka Alberto El Patron) is well-known in the world of professional wrestling. He has also tried his hand a large number of times in Mixed Martial Arts.

Bigelow competed on November 17th, 1996 for the U-Japan event. He was completely dominated and eventually submitted in the first round by Kimo Leopoldo. It should be noted that he had very little training. Bigelow has claimed in shoot interviews that he was paid $100,000 for the fight. He also claims that it was a work. Whether that is true or not, we will never know.

24) Bart Gunn

Bart would go on to compete in two MMA matches in 2006. He would win his first fight and lose the second.

23) Batista

MMA Record: 1 Win, 0 Losses

Batista has had an incredibly successful career in professional wrestling. He has also branched off to become a giant star in Hollywood. You might not know that he once competed in MMA.

In 2012, Batista fought at the CES MMA event. He defeated Vince Lucero via TKO in the first round. Batista reportedly donated his fight purse to charity after the win.

22) Bobby Lashley

MMA Record: 15 Wins, 2 Losses
