The Rock made headlines after the February 20th episode of RAW when he called CM Punk in the middle of the ring. This came following WWE fans chanting ‘CM Punk’ at him after he mentioned the name of AJ Lee (who is appearing as a character in his new film: Fighting With My Family).

We posted on Tuesday that Vince McMahon was rumored to be NOT happy with the segment, even trying to put an end to it early. The Rock is untouchable when it comes to any sort of punishment because WWE needs the Rock more than the other way around.
The Rock posted on Twitter about his impromptu phone call to Punk:

This is certainly something that has made headlines in the wrestling world because of Punk’s fractured relationship with WWE. The company also probably doesn’t like that the Rock addressed the chants because it is only going to cause WWE fans to chant it more often at events.
