WWE RAW Results 04/22/2019 – Things That We Learned

Here is what we learned from RAW this week.

1) Samoa Joe Officially Moved Over To RAW With The United States Championship

RAW this week kicked off with Triple H and Seth Rollins. After a lengthy promo, they were interrupted by Samoa Joe. Joe announced that he has officially moved over to RAW with the United States Championship.

Joe missed last week because he was sick. The roster change was made official.

2) AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins Is A Wrestlemania Worthy Match

During the opening segment, Samoa Joe, the Miz, Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and AJ Styles plead their cases for a Universal Title match against Seth Rollins.

I can’t lie, the tease for Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles has me excited. This is a match that you could make the case to be the main event of Wrestlemania 36. As we found out later, that isn’t going to be the case.

3) RAW Opened With A Fun Triple Threat Match

RAW featured a triple threat match to earn a spot in the main event: AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio.

This turned out to be a really fun match to kick off the show. WWE gave them plenty of time and there were some fun moments. This was a great match to kick off the show.
